Merged trade bodies to fight for
A campaign to secure a more cost-effective regulatory environment for thousands of brokers will form the basis of the “historic” merger between the British Insurance Brokers’ Association and the Institute of Insurance Brokers.
The two major broking bodies sealed a deal to bring together more than 2000 members on Tuesday. Biba chief executive Eric Galbraith retains the top job, with his IIB counterpart Barbara Bradshaw
