Central seals £2.6m acquisition of Aberdeen broker
Central Insurance has acquired Aberdeen-based broker Collins Halden & Burnett in a £2.6m deal.
The takeover, financed by cash and shares, will boost Central's premium placement into the UK insurance market to £51m. The firm said it places it among the top 15 independent brokers in the UK.
