Zurich reports 22% decrease in GI profit in 2010 Q3 results
Zurich this morning reported a business operating profit within general insurance of £2bn, a reduction of 22%.
It added gross written premiums and policy fees shrunk 3% to 25.5bn and its COR was 97.8% (Q3 2009: 96.9%).
Zurich said the decrease against prior year was mainly attributable to a higher occurrence
