US insurance giant admits Quinn interest
US insurance giant Liberty Mutual has contacted the administrators of Quinn Insurance to express an interest in taking over the company.
The Irish Times reports that a spokesman for the company confirmed it had contacted Michael McAteer and Paul McCann of Grant Thornton.
The business trades in the UK and Ireland as Liberty
