Scor's ratings get boost
Rating agencies Standard & Poor's (S&P) and AM Best have both upgraded the financial strength ratings of troubled French reinsurer Scor.
S&P upgraded Scor's long-term counterparty credit and insurer financial strength ratings from BBB- (good) to BBB+ (good) with a stable outlook. The agency also removed Scor's ratings from CreditWatchOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
