Data analysis: The Financial Ombudsman Service data shows general insurance complaints have sharply increased in the second half of 2022 as consumers battle with inflation.

The ombudsman publishes complaints data about financial businesses every six months, and the data gives an insight into consumer attitudes towards businesses and services in the financial sector.
