Beale rules out Malta as post-Brexit Lloyd's base
Lloyd’s of London has ruled out Malta as the location for a European-based subsidiary, as the market continues to narrow its focus on a post-Brexit contingency plan.
In an interview with Bloomberg TV at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Friday, Lloyd's CEO Inga Beale said Malta was considered and ruled out as a pontential location for a EU base.
