Chatbots are all the rage at present, but a cursory test of a few available systems shows that we’re still a long way from passing the Turing test.
One chatbot, despite having a scantily clad facsimile of the cunning ‘Eva’ robot from Ex Machina on the homepage, went into meltdown at the first mention of the word ‘insurance’:
