UK utility companies face rising cyber threat
Successful cyber attacks against UK utility companies climbed more than 500%, and some fear they could yet rise further, according to Chaucer.
The insurer said there were 48 cases of UK utilities being attacked and breached in 2023, up from seven cases in 2022.
According to Chaucer, these attacks have so far been “largely restricted” to theft
