Watchstone files £13.7m claim against KPMG over botched audit
Watchstone has filed a £13.7m claim against KPMG, claiming damages allegedly arising from the accountant’s audit of the company’s 2013 financial statements.
When they were initially announced along with an unqualified audit report from KPMG, the 2013 accounts showed that Watchstone – then operating as Quindell – had recorded an £83m post-tax profit for
