Government pledges £62m flood funding
The government has pledged £62m investment in flood defences for communities across Yorkshire, Cumbria, the North East and the South East of England.
The funding will be spread across 13 projects which, as well as helping develop existing flood defences, will boost economic regeneration and increase prosperity in those areas.
