Typhoon Jelawat dissipates causing little damage
Typhoon Jelawat passed over Japan's main island of Honshu yesterday as a weakening tropical cyclone, and the remnants are currently over the north west Pacific ocean, racing away from Japan at about 85km/h.
The Japan Meteorological Agency said that Jelawat is about 900km from Hokkaido and is passing more or less parallel to Russia's Kuril Islands south of the Kamchatka Peninsula, but AIR Worldwide said
