Caribbean cat risk report issued on Sandy
The Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility has issued a risk report after two of its members, Jamaica and the Bahamas, were hit by tropical cyclone Sandy.
While Sandy produced heavy rains as it passed west of the coast of Haiti, no part of the country was within the tropical storm wind footprint of CCRIF's multi-peril risk estimation system.
