fraud-clippings

As legislation and industry initiatives make conventional types of fraudulent claims more detectable, insurance fraud is constantly taking new forms.

This webinar in association with Ordnance Survey will address how insurers need to remain competitive by:

  • Putting measures in place to mitigate its impact and identifying ways of preventing fraud at policy inception
  • Identifying emerging fraud trends, including which lines of business are seeing growth in fraudulent claims
  • Using technology and information in new ways to combat fraud.

The webinar at 3:00pm on 6 September will also look at the findings from the latest survey of IFIG members, identifying the key areas to watch in the future, and enabling you to benchmark your own business against the rest of the industry.

Speakers include:

• David Philips, chairman, IFIG, and counter fraud specialist, NFU Mutual
• Sarah Adams, financial service sector manager, Ordnance Survey
• Adele Sumner, head of fraud intelligence and strategic development, RSA
Insurance UK
• DCI Dave Clark, IFED (City of London Police)
