Ecclesiastical offers VAT break to churches
Ecclesiastical has proposed increasing sums insured for all church buildings used for worship to reflect the new level of VAT without any charge.
The move, which came into effect on 4 January 2011, will means thousands of churches across the UK will be spared some of the pain of January’s VAT increase, according to the insurer.
