Editor's comment: Feel pride
Throughout the year at sports day, parent-teacher consultations, and music and dance recitals, I say to my son “as long as you try your best” no one can ask any more of you.
And while it would be lovely to always be the best or come first, he knows that if he gives 100% to everything, then I’ll be proud, no matter where he comes or what he achieves.
