Towergate backers launch general insurance giant
Towergate backers HPS Investment Partners and Madison Dearborn Partners will consolidate Towergate with Autonet, Chase Templeton, Price Forbes and Ryan Direct to form a general insurance giant.
The combined broking and underwriting business will launch in the third quarter of the year under a new brand name. It will be led by existing Towergate CEO David Ross, and former Financial Conduct
