Biba concerned by riot damages cap
The British Insurance Brokers' Association has expressed concern over the suggested cap on claiming compensation proposed by government in its overhaul of the Riot (Damages) Act.
The wide scale reforms to the Act, announced as part of the Queen's Speech on 4 June, also included establishing a Riot Claims Bureau to handle claims in a more unified manner.
