Japan's regulator to ban subcontractors selling insurance
The Financial Services Agency in Japan is expected to to ban insurance agencies from allowing subcontractors to sell insurance products.
According to a report in the Japan Times, the ban will be formally announced within a week as subcontractors often fail to sufficiently explain products to customers and try to sell them excessive
