Aviva's general insurance result is predicted to fall 5% year on year as a result of recent unseasonable UK weather.
The drop has even been described as "optimistic" by Investec analyst Kevin Ryan, who argued that adverse weather conditions throughout June are likely to have had a significant impact on the insurer
