Insurers to face new government levy to educate customers
Insurers look set to face a new government levy after the coalition government published its new programme for government today, with aims to educate the public on financial services.
The document stated: “We will create Britain’s first free national financial advice service, which will be funded in full from a new social responsibility levy on the financial services sector.”
