My best 11 - Malcolm Hyde, CILA

CILA executive director Malcolm Hyde selects his best XI for an insurance start-up company.

My best 11 - Malcolm Hyde

The Luton Town fan, author and adjusting grandee has chosen a blend of youth and experience, directed ably at the back by an England World Cup legend.

1. Gordon Banks (GK)
Childhood hero and the reason I played in goal, the greatest keeper of all time

2. Nick Starling (ABI) (RB) Anyone trying to get past Nick will succumb to his charm and graciously give the ball away

3. Jonathan Davidson (BDMA) ( LB)
His powers of persuasion and penchant for well-timed forward runs will provide the team with a sense of excitement and no-nonsense flair

4. Harry Roberts (Cunningham Lindsey UK) (CM)
Harry's intelligent game and ability to be creative, while helping at the back, will ensure a free flowing midfield.

5. David Williams (Axa) (CB)
On the pitch you need someone willing to speak out. David fits the bill and, being omnipresent, will keep every striker at bay

6. Kerry Archer (Crawford & Co) (CB)
Kerry will provide the youth to go with experience, dazzling the fans with her speed and determination

7. Gary Hemsley (Merlin) (RM)
Gary's reliability and loyalty will be reassuring to his teammates, but his desire to take on opponents will be a constant worry to our rivals

8. John Nelson (Lloyd's) (CM)
While a relative newcomer to this arena, John is a good communicator and will push the team on to great things

9. Andy King (Aon) (ST)
King, a former Luton Town legend and CILA treasurer, gives two for the price of one. Andy will ensure unity in the team

10. Tamsin Mills (CII) (ST)
I am great believer in those who will take on the opponent and deliver the perfect pass

11. Alison Ingram (Towergate) (LW)
Dynamic, reliable and never afraid of competing, Alison is an inspiring and determined player
