Cologne Re of Dublin: Ratings withdrawn at company request
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today it affirmed its 'A' long-term counterparty credit and insurer financial strength ratings on Ireland-based reinsurer Cologne Re of Dublin. The ratings were subsequently withdrawn at the company's request. The outlook was stable before the withdrawal.
Standard & Poor's credit analyst Jean-Paul Hubyklein, said: "The affirmation reflects our view that Cologne Re of Dublin's ultimate parent Berkshire Hathaway (AA+/Stable/A-1+) will continue to ensure
