Aegon and Sony Life form new Bermudian reinsurer
Sony Life Insurance has announced that that it has formed a reinsurance joint venture with Dutch insurer Aegon in Bermuda.
The new company, SA Reinsurance, was granted a license by authorities last week.
Reports say that the 50-50 joint venture will be 5bn yen.
This unit will provide reinsurance for variable life
