Swiss Re granted approval for Mumbai office
Reinsurance giant Swiss Re has been granted a branch license for India and will open up an office in Mumbai at the beginning of February.
India's Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority has approved Swiss Re's application for a composite branch license allowing the reinsurer to offer both non-life, life and health reinsurance
