Unipol launches Dublin-based reinsurer
A reinsurer targeting property and casualty business in continental Europe has been launched in Dublin, Ireland, by Italy-based Unipol Sai Assicurazioni in order to capitalise on the rewards for diversification under Solvency II.
The new entitiy, Unipol Re, has assets of more than €500m (£365m) and will offer tailored reinsurance coverage to small and medium-sized insurance companies throughout continental Europe for a range
