Swiss Re chief announces early retirement
Swiss Re’s chief executive officer Stefan Lippe is to step down in 2012, bringing his tenure as the head of the reinsurer to a premature end.
The firm's board of directors said it regretted Lippe's decision to step down after three years at the helm, but said a successor will be appointed soon: "Since becoming CEO in 2009, he has led Swiss
