JLT Re appointments strengthen European practice

JLT Reinsurance brokers has expanded its existing capabilities in Central and Eastern Europe through the appointments of Guy Hudson as partner and Russell Henwood as associate.

Bradley Maltese, member of the JLT Re board, said: "Both these excellent practitioners have joined JLT Re's non-marine treaty team and while building on our European practice they will also broaden our international reinsurance offering as we continue to expand."

Mr Hudson's experience in the industry stretches back over 20 years. His previous appointments include Jauch & Huebner where he held the position of director, followed by Heath Lambert and later Willis where he was executive director, responsible for producing and placing reinsurance programmes on behalf of CEE insurers.

Mr Henwood brings over 30 years' of reinsurance experience providing technical advice to clients based in CEE. He joins JLT from Willis where he was divisional director in the reinsurance division. Prior to Willis, he worked for the reinsurance arm of Heath Lambert and its predecessor companies for over 25 years.
