US Congress passes (re)insurance sanctions on Iran
US Congress has backed plans to impose sanctions on Iran including an insurance and reinsurance ban for Iranian tankers as part of the Iran Refined Petroleum Sanctions Act
The Iran Refined Petroleum Sanctions Act was passed the House of Representatives with ease by 412 votes to 12.
However, the Financial Times reported that the Obama administration has reservations
