One in four US mortgages 'underwater'
One in four US mortgages are in negative equity, a study by First American has shown.
Nearly 10.7m, or 23%, of all residential properties with mortgages were in negative equity as of September, 2009, according to figures released by First American CoreLogic, a subsidiary of US title
