Somerset Bridge and Leave EU appeals against ICO penalties come to an end
Somerset Bridge and Leave EU’s appeals against penalties imposed by the Information Commissioner’s Office in 2019 have come to an end, the former withdrawing its appeal while the latter's was dismissed after it failed to attend a hearing earlier this month.
Somerset Bridge, known as Eldon prior to a 2019 rebrand, was fined £60,000 with the ICO also ordering a data audit of the broker, while Leave EU was fined £45,000.
The penalties were levelled in
