Value of FSA fines trebles to £96.7m
The value of fines handed to businesses by the Financial Services Authority has trebled in one year from £33.1m to £96.7m.
According to law firm Reynolds Porter Chamberlain, 15 fines of £1m or more in the year to 31 March 2011 worth £86.9m was an increase of 216% from £27.5m the year before when there were eight. It
