Insurance Telematics 2015 – Speaker: Avner Freiberger

Avner Freiberger joined Verisk in 2013 when the company acquired the assets of Sensomatix and formed the Verisk Telematics Innovation Center.

In his current role, Freiberger oversees research, development, and administration for the Innovation Center. As vice president of research and development with Sensomatix, Freiberger helped develop the ‘Driving DNA' advanced analytical platform for usage-based insurance (UBI) and the ‘Safety Scoring' rating model for driving behavior.

Before joining Sensomatix, he held a variety of positions in software engineering and image processing.

Freiberger holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Ben-Gurion University in Israel.
