Qatar Insurance Company buys Antares
Qatar Insurance Company is to enter the London market following the acquisition of the entire share capital of specialist insurer and reinsurer Antares.
The deal will provide QIC with access to Lloyd's through Syndicate 1274 and Antares' managing agency.
Antares' also has a Bermuda-based reinsurance operation.
The transaction remains subject to UK
