Amlin makes acquisition
Lloyd's (re)insurer Amlin said it has agreed to buy Belgo-Dutch property and casualty insurer Fortis Corporate Insurance (FCI) from the Dutch Government for €350m.
The deal will be partially funded by a 23.5m share placing - which Amlin also announced today - which represents 5% of the company's ordinary share capital.The rest will be funded from Amlin's
