Texas politicians unanimously approve windstorm compromise
The Texas House unanimously approved a compromise on a windstorm insurance system overhaul Sunday night, the Houston Chronicle has reported.
The paper adds that the plan must still come up in the Senate before the Legislature adjourns Monday. In the deal, the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association - which is the only property insurerOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
