AIG rating lowered to AA at S&P
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has lowered its long-term counterparty credit and senior debt ratings on American International Group to 'AA' from 'AA+' and removed it from CreditWatch with negative implications.
Standard & Poor's also said that it lowered its preferred stock rating on AIG to 'A+' from 'AA-' and removed it from CreditWatch negative. In addition, Standard & Poor's lowered its financial strengthOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
