European insurers welcome gender decision, despite December deadline

European insurance trade bodies have welcolmed the preliminary agreement struck by the EU Council for Employment and Social Affairs on the draft directive on equal access to and supply of goods. However, there was dissapointment that a final decision would not be made until December.
