Atlantic to see stormy 2004
Hurricane activity in the Atlantic will be above average in 2004, according to the latest forecast from the Tropical Storm Risk (TSR) service at the Benfield Hazard Research Centre.
TSR claims that activity will be 140% of the average. It predicts that there will be 13.3 tropical storms in 2004, up from the average of 9.9, 7.2 hurricanes, up from the average of 6 and 2.9 intenseOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
