Moody’s puts Odyssey Re on review
Moody's Investors Service has announced that it has placed the Baa1 (adequate) insurance financial strength ratings of Odyssey America Reinsurance Corporation and Clearwater Insurance Company (previously named Odyssey Reinsurance Corporation), collectively known as "Odyssey Re", on review for possible upgrade following the group's first quarter earnings announcement.
The review is based on the company's improvement in operating performance, profitability and capital formation over the past year.According to Moody's, the review will focus on the group's future
