EC green light for Swiss-GEIS deal
The European Commission has cleared the proposed acquisition of a substantial part of the direct insurance and reinsurance businesses of GEIS by Swiss Re.
The commission said the parties´ activities overlap horizontally in the worldwide market for the provision of life and non-life reinsurance. However, it said that in these markets the combined market
