Insurance claim puts Cardiff trees on chopping block

Two mature lime trees in Riverside, Cardiff, are set to be felled due to a home insurance claim, causing uproar among locals.

Initially reported by Cardiff Civic Society, the need for Cardiff Council to fell the trees on Neville Street stemmed from claims made by a resident in 2020 of roots damage to the property.
