Axa sells Denplan to focus on PMI
Axa has sold dental payment plan business Denplan to the Simply Health Group for £115m on a debt free cash free basis.
After a pre-disposal exceptional dividend of £30m and a capital release of £6m, Axa pocketed £151m.
Axa acquired Denplan as part of the Guardian Royal Exchange acquisition in 1999.
