Close Brothers to seek consent to pay premium finance commission

From next week, Close Brothers will seek consent from commercial customers for the payment of broker commissions for premium finance.

CBPF will now provide brokers with a form they must have their customers fill out, which discloses the commission the firm will pay to arrange premium finance.

The lender has published both a broker

Five charged over collapse of law firm Axiom Ince

The Serious Fraud Office has charged five men, including two solicitors, with offences including fraud, forgery and the destruction of documents, following the collapse of the law firm Axiom Ince and alleged improper use of more than £60m of client money.
