Instanda CEO 'taken aback' by rival tactics

Instanda CEO Tim Hardcastle has claimed “established” insurtech providers are far from “fair and open” when competing with his business for deals with major insurance companies.

Hardcastle explained due to the company’s recent growth, they have been looked at by “much bigger insurers”, compared with earlier in its journey, when it primarily worked with smaller MGAs.

Five charged over collapse of law firm Axiom Ince

The Serious Fraud Office has charged five men, including two solicitors, with offences including fraud, forgery and the destruction of documents, following the collapse of the law firm Axiom Ince and alleged improper use of more than £60m of client money.
