BIA 2021 27 insurance broker of the year

Five firms, which received 10 awards between them in 2021, all have names beginning with the same letter. What letter is it?

There are now just 10 days left to get your British Insurance Awards entries in [closing date: 11 March].

And would you believe it, but in 2021 five businesses all beginning with the letter ‘A’ won 10 of the awards at the British Insurance Awards.

Aviva took home the Commercial Lines Insurer of the year, Risk and Resilience Award and Business Sustainability/CSR Initiative prize.

Aston Lark triumphed in three of the categories too: Insurance Broker of the Year, Commercial Lines SME/Mid-Corporate Broker of the Year, and the Investing in the Profession/Training Award.

Meanwhile, All Clear came top in the Brand Management and Customer Care Awards.

Finally, Ageas won Personal lines Insurer of the Year and Aqueous Underwriting was crowned Broker Partner of the Year.

The fact the Achievement Award went to David Stevens and the Insurance Personality of the Year gong to Peter Blanc (both pictured) for their work at Admiral and Aston Lark, respectively, meant it really was ‘A’ great night for all those mentioned here.

To make sure you have a chance of continuing the success of the ‘As’, or spreading the live elsewhere across the alphabet, start your BIA entries today.
