This week John Lewis released its Christmas advertisement – the Man on the Moon – causing even the most stiff-upper-lipped Brit to shed a tear.
In the two-minute advert a little girl, Lily, spies a lonely elderly man on the moon.
Surrounded by Christmas celebrations at home, she tries desperately to send him a message but all her efforts fail
