Qatar Insurance Company sees GWP rise 20%

Qatar Insurance Company posted gross written premiums of $1.48bn (£965m) for the first nine months of 2015, a 20% increase on its prior year result.

The group's consolidated net profit dropped from $220m in the first nine months of 2014 to $196m this year. The net underwriting result rose from $140m in 2014 to $175m this year.
