Ellen Carney of Forrester Research has predicted that there will be a 25% reduction in the number of insurance agencies in the US by 2020.
In a market of 40,000 agencies she said that within five years one quarter will be gone: "The business of insurance is changing thanks to digital," she told the audience at the Applied Net 2015
