Equine insurance has cleared the hurdle of recession
The bets are on a continuing recovery in the equestrian market, with figures from the Racecourse Association showing a dramatic jump in attendances this year. In the first six months of 2015, almost three million people attended races, up by 300,000 on the same period last year. On the back of this, the going is good for equine insurers to benefit from firmer ground following the recession, which saw a heavy fall in bloodstock valuations.
